Hello there, I'm Julia - lovely to meet you.

I'm a Manchester newborn, maternity, and family photographer with a cosy studio in Monton.

First and foremost, I LOVE my job. I can't imagine a greater experience than capturing life's most precious moments and preserving those memories for future generations.

Having two little children of my own, I understand how truly important photos of your family and loved ones are. Each age of your child’s development is special on its own. Nothing gives me more pleasure than looking through photographs of my little ones growing and changing and I hope to be able to create these for you too.

I aim to capture all the little details that we think we will remember forever, but will eventually fade. The fleeting moments that make up motherhood.

My main approach is simple and honest: no unnatural posing.

Just your baby and family photographed as they are now in a way that you'll cherish forever.

I had a wonderful experience with Julia for a newborn shoot. No gimmicks or fuss, just great photography in a really tasteful and calming environment.
My baby was 16 days old at the time of the shoot and Julia was so gentle and patient with him when he decided to be more awake than he’d ever been before - and the images are just lovely and I will treasure them forever.
I would 100% recommend Julia to anyone looking for a newborn/family photographer. I am already booked in for a family shoot later in the year!

Julia is a fabulous photographer and we are so pleased with the photos that we have received. Julia was so kind, calm and accommodating. What was supposed to be a mamma and baby shoot turned into a whole family affair and that didn’t phase her at all. Whilst my two-year-old refused to have her hair done and went through a whole selection of snacks provided by Julia in the background, Julia still managed to do her magic and take some amazing shots that we will treasure of the siblings and the whole family. We really loved that we got to view the gallery at home rather than being pressured into making decisions on the spot as some photographers do and can put us off. We never felt any pressure and it allowed us to go back and forth with our decisions regarding our favourites (we loved them all so this was hard) and appreciate the quality of her work. Julia was always quick to reply to our queries and this was really helpful in the planning of the shoot in terms of what to wear and suggestions. This was perfect given that the first few days after having a baby can be a bit of a whirlwind. We have already recommended her to others and will definitely return in the future.
